One family brings its own brand of justice to the streets of Chicago’s shadowy underworld as #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan returns to a series hot enough to burn…
The paparazzi can’t get enough of infamous bad boy Giovanni Ferraro. But unknown to them–and the women he beds–he’s just playing a role. Keeping the spotlight on himself keeps it off the family business. And if this lethal shadow rider can’t hunt in the dark, he’ll find his pleasure elsewhere…
Sasha Provis grew up on a Wyoming ranch and thought she knew how to protect herself from predators. But in the nightclub where she works, she’s fair game–until one of the owners steps in to protect her. Giovanni is gorgeous. He’s dangerous. And his every touch takes her breath away.
The devil at her heels may have finally met its match…

I absolutely love this series! And Giovanni and Sasha are great. Undeniable fascination and recognition of their shadows and abilities. But Giovanni is demanding. Well, he is a Ferraro! But he’s so endearing with Sasha. And Sasha is an independent woman, unwilling to accept help…until absolutely necessary.
And the dance begins… 😍😉 As does the stalking and threats.
I love the loyalty, devotion, and intensity of the Ferraro’s. And Francesca is still as sweet as ever, and she knows exactly how to handle and accept Stefano. Mariko seems so comfortable in her own skin now. She and Ricco had this intensity and balance that works very well for them.
And the dynamics between Valentino Saldi and Emmanuelle have me excited for their story. I think it’s going to break my heart.
Taviano seems so tortured and Nicoletta is equally so. They just can’t connect even though she is his. Her traumas weigh so heavily on her and she is trying to figure out how she fits; who she is.
Vittorio? Well, he revealed a bit more of himself to Sasha. It will be fun to see his character develop more.
Giovanni and Sasha have this strong love of family and would do anything to protect them. Trusting in what they have and are together isn’t so easy for Sasha, but when they come together is passionate and poetic.
